You've got questions,
We have answers!
Our public skating schedule and admission pricing varies depending on the day. The most excellent way to know our current info is to check out our schedule page
Yes, general admission price includes quad rental skates at no extra charge. Inline or speed skate rentals are $3 extra.
Everyone is required to pay admission to enter the facility unless you are a non-skating parent or a non-skating child 5 or under
We offer regular quad rentals from juvenile size 6 up to adult size 17. Inline skates are available from kids size 11 up to adult size 13
Yes, you can bring your own skates and just pay admission. Outside skates are subject to inspection. Skates can't be excessively dirty or have exposed metal parts that can potentially damage the hardwood floor. Also, if your skates are made to have a toe stop or brake, they must have one. Sorry, no slider skates
We don't have instructors available during public sessions, but we are working on a lesson s program to be offered in the near future. We are always happy to help with skate tips at the front counter.
Unfortunately, we can't adjust or work on any personal skates, but if we have the necessary tool, we can provide that to you.
Sorry, no we don't...This is a very debatable topic in the skate industry. If these "walkers" were used correctly as advised, they could potentially be a useful tool. However, we have found them to add considerable safety risk to others and create a big monitoring for proper use challenge
Our packages start at $149 for up to 10 skaters and can be booked during any public skating session except Friday Night Hot Hits session from 7-10pm. Please see our birthday page or click here to see details and options or to book
We do not allow outside food or drinks into the facility unless you have booked one of our birthday parties. If you have a birthday party booked, we do allow you to bring in a cake or cupcakes. Sorry, no goodie bags allowed with candy or other treats. Scheduled parties can bring goodie bags, but must pass them out at the end of session. Private party rentals can bring in other food/drinks to provide to all of their guests. But no alcohol
No need to pre-order pizzas. Please let us know @ your check-in or anytime during your celebration!
Yes, decorations are great for both private events and party packages during public session times, but please no confetti or silly string or pinatas. Thank you
Booked birthday party packages check-in at session start time. Private party celebrations may arrive to set-up 15 minutes prior to party start time.
We charge $6 per skater, with a minimum fee of $350...Inline or Speed Skates $3 extra. If looking to fundraise, simply charge above our charge and earn the difference.
During those special time offerings, we charge $6 per skater, with a minimum fee of $350.

Our special group rates are available for groups of 15 or more at $1 off admission price per person and must be booked at least 1 week in advance. Group rates can be booked for any public skating session and offer all of your guests the opportunity to experience our center at an extra low, affordable rate.
We accept Cash, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and Apple Pay
We play a mixture of pop, R&B, rock, and family friendly hits. We always take song requests and play if we have it and if it matches the session format.
We interact with our much appreciated skater crowd with games, fun, and prizes. We have a dice game, limbo, reverse skate, speed skate and races, red light green light, and more! We also turn down the lights for a glow skate throughout the session.
Yes, we do. From new crane games to old school Pacman to air hockey
Yes, we do. We offer fountain drinks, slushies, nachos, corn dogs, pizza, popcorn, Italian sodas, and a whole variety of quick snacks.
No, sorry....alcohol and skating don't add up to well
Fritz and Charlotte Groves established The Skate Inn back in 1959. Later on, Dianne Groves took over and served the community in an amazing way. The rink name was changed to Marysville Skate Center in 2014 with new ownership(Michael Louis), but it is also still considered The Skate Inn. It is currently the 27th oldest rink in the U.S.
Skate at your own risk
We appreciate your consideration for others and skating with caution. Important guidelines include:
*No fast skating. If you are consistently skating faster than the general flow of traffic, you are skating too fast during an "all skate"
*No playing chase or tag
*No stopping and standing along the walls
*No gum chewing
*No using phones while skating
*No food or drinks on the floor, top of the wall, or side benches
*It's okay for parents to walk and assist inexperienced skaters
*Please no carrying kids while on skates
*Please follow safety directions from staff
Thank you!
